Fourme d'Ambert AOP is one of France’s most celebrated blue cheeses, produced in the Auvergne region. Creamy, supple and beautifully mild, it has delicate blue veining with a smooth, buttery texture and a gentle, slightly earthy flavour.
Less intense than many blue cheeses, Fourme d'Ambert is perfect for a cheese board, served with fresh bread, walnuts, pears or a drizzle of honey. It also pairs beautifully with a sweet white wine or a glass of Port.
